ribalto

Ribaltto refers to a type of video effect used in the cinematographic industry. It is characterized by the rotation of a portion of an image around its center point in a predetermined plane. This effect allows the other portion of the image to remain static, often used for stylistic purposes in filmmaking.

Historically, ribaltto was a technique used to display scenes or scenes within scenes. The view is first static and then only a part of it zooms and rotates around the remaining part. The traditional combination of ribaltto with Hungarian Traveling shot would later result in easy cuts between the "click" and the going arrow, as portrayals in cinematography continued.
