Pyörimisakselien, a Finnish term, translates to "axes of rotation" in English. In physics and engineering, an axis of rotation is a theoretical line around which an object rotates. This line can pass through the object itself, or it can be external to it. For example, the Earth rotates around an axis that passes through its geographic poles.
