prismatoid
A prismatoid is a polyhedron possessing two parallel bases, which can be any polygons, and a set of triangular faces connecting the corresponding vertices of the two bases. The lateral edges of a prismatoid are the line segments connecting the vertices of one base to the vertices of the other. If the bases are identical in shape and size, and the lateral faces are parallelograms, then the prismatoid is a prism. If one of the bases is a point, the prismatoid becomes a pyramid.
The volume of a prismatoid can be calculated using the prismoidal formula, which states that the volume
A special case of a prismatoid is a prismoid, which is a prismatoid where the two bases
