Photometria is a region in northeastern Greece and a former municipality in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. It is located in the southern part of the regional unit, bordering the regional units of Thesprotia and Preveza to the west and south respectively, and the municipality of Pogoni to the north. The capital of Photometria was the town of Filiates.

The region is characterized by its mountainous terrain and fertile valleys. The main river that flows through Photometria is the Kalamas River. The area has a rich history, with evidence of ancient settlements and Byzantine churches. Historically, Photometria was known for its agriculture, particularly olive oil production, and livestock farming. The population of Photometria has historically been predominantly Greek.

In 2011, as part of the Kallikratis program, the municipality of Photometria was merged with other municipalities to form the new municipality of Filiates. The administrative reforms led to a restructuring of local governance, with the former municipality of Photometria becoming a municipal unit within the larger Filiates municipality. The municipal unit of Photometria continues to encompass the same geographical area and retains its distinct local identity. The economy of the area is still largely based on agriculture and animal husbandry, with some tourism developing in recent years, drawn by the natural beauty and historical sites.
