Osilloskooppi is a Finnish term for oscilloscope. The time base signal sweeps the electron beam across the screen at a constant speed, creating a visual representation of the signal's voltage over time. Digital oscilloscopes sample the input signal at a high rate and reconstruct the waveform on a digital display.
