Other important trunks include the subclavian trunks, responsible for draining the upper limbs and a portion of the chest, and the jugular trunks, which drain lymph from the head and neck.

These trunks eventually empty into the thoracic duct or the right lymphatic duct, which are the two largest lymphatic vessels in the body. The thoracic duct collects lymph from the majority of the body, while the right lymphatic duct drains the right upper quadrant.
