Nemesgázokkal, also known as noble gases or inert gases, refers to the group of chemical elements in Group 18 of the periodic table. These elements are characterized by their low chemical reactivity due to having a full valence electron shell. The elements in this group are helium (He), neon (Ne), argon (Ar), krypton (Kr), xenon (Xe), radon (Rn), and oganesson (Og). They are all colorless, odorless, and monatomic gases at standard temperature and pressure.

Helium is the lightest and second most abundant element in the universe. It is known for its use in balloons and blimps, as well as in cryogenics due to its extremely low boiling point. Neon is famous for its use in neon signs, where it emits a distinctive reddish-orange light when an electric current passes through it. Argon is the most abundant noble gas in Earth's atmosphere and is used in welding, lighting, and as a protective atmosphere in various industrial processes.

Krypton and xenon are less common but have found applications in specialized lighting, such as in high-intensity discharge lamps and photographic flashes. Radon is a radioactive noble gas that occurs naturally from the radioactive decay of uranium and thorium. Due to its radioactivity, it is a health concern and its accumulation in buildings is monitored. Oganesson is a synthetic, highly unstable element with no known practical applications. The inert nature of these gases makes them valuable in situations where chemical reactions are undesirable.
