natlenione

Natlenione is a Polish adjective and participle used to describe substances that have been enriched with oxygen. The term comes from tlen, the Polish word for oxygen, with the prefix na- and the suffix -ione, and it forms related nouns such as natlenienie (oxygenation) and the adjective natleniony (oxygenated). It appears in scientific and technical writing to denote an increased content of dissolved oxygen or the introduction of oxygen through a chemical or biological process.

In chemistry and environmental science, natlenione roztwory or natlenione media refer to solutions or media with higher oxygen concentration than the baseline. In medicine and physiology, natleniona krew or natlenione płyny describe fluids with enhanced oxygen content, typically achieved by circulatory or respiratory interventions. In biology, tissues may be described as natlenione after the transfer of oxygen from blood or air.

The term is distinct from utleniony, which in Polish normally means oxidized, and from natlenianie, the process of oxygenating. In practice, natlenienie is used to discuss controlled oxygenation steps in industrial water treatment, fermentation, aquaculture, and pharmaceutical preparation.
