The mozgatórendszer, or musculoskeletal system in English, is a complex biological system responsible for movement, support, and protection of the body. It is composed of several key components that work in coordination. The skeletal system provides the structural framework, consisting of bones that protect vital organs, store minerals, and serve as attachment points for muscles. Muscles, the contractile tissues of the body, generate force through their ability to shorten and lengthen, thereby enabling a wide range of movements. Tendons connect muscles to bones, transmitting the force generated by muscles to the skeleton. Ligaments are strong, fibrous tissues that connect bones to other bones, stabilizing joints and preventing excessive movement.
