monikulmaa

Monikulmaa is a Finnish term that translates to "polygon" in English. It refers to a closed shape in a plane made up of straight line segments connected end to end. These line segments are called sides, and the points where they meet are called vertices. The number of sides and vertices determines the type of polygon. For example, a polygon with three sides is a triangle, a polygon with four sides is a quadrilateral, and a polygon with five sides is a pentagon.

Polygons can be classified in several ways. They can be regular or irregular. A regular polygon has all sides equal in length and all interior angles equal in measure. An irregular polygon does not have these properties. Polygons can also be convex or concave.
