Mobiililukuja is the Finnish term for mobile phone numbers. They are the telephone numbers assigned to mobile networks for voice, messaging and data services. In Finland they are part of the global E.164 numbering system and are governed by the national numbering plan under the Nordic-Baltic region.

Domestic formatting: numbers are written with a leading 0 followed by a two-digit mobile prefix and seven digits, for example 040 123 4567. In international form the leading 0 is replaced by the country code, yielding [phone]. Numbers are centralized in the assignments of operators, but portability allows keeping a number when changing operators.

Allocation and portability: the Finnish regulatory authority Traficom (formerly Viestintävirasto) allocates and manages mobile number ranges and oversees mobile number portability (MNP). When a user switches operator, the porting process is coordinated to minimize service interruption and typically completed within one business day.

Usage and implications: mobile numbers identify subscribers, facilitate routing of calls and messages, and are used in billing and authentication. Because numbers are personal data, their handling falls under data protection rules such as the EU's GDPR, and operators implement privacy and security measures. Changes in technology, such as eSIMs, influence how numbers are used but the numbering system itself remains stable.
