Mekanizmave is the Albanian term for mechanisms in the plural, used to describe the structures and processes that bring about a result or explain how something works. The expression appears across scientific, technical, and everyday language, often referring to the coordinated actions of parts or steps in a system.

Across domains, mekanizmat share common features: components that interact, a sequence of actions or causal relations, and a purpose or function. In engineering and technology, mechanical mechanisms include gears, levers, cams, and linkages that convert motion and force. In biology, mechanisms refer to biochemical pathways and cellular processes that produce physiological outcomes, such as signaling cascades, gene regulation, or metabolic networks.
