meediapääsu is a Finnish initiative aimed at improving public access to digital media resources and fostering media literacy across the country. Launched in 2015 by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture in partnership with regional libraries and educational institutions, the project provides a coordinated platform through which citizens can explore a wide range of media content, including historical archives, cultural productions, and contemporary news. The service is publicly funded and operates in compliance with Finland’s open data policies and copyright regulations.
