Laservibrasjonsmåling, also known as laser Doppler vibrometry (LDV), is a non-contact optical measurement technique used to determine the vibration characteristics of a surface. A laser beam is directed at the surface of interest, and the reflected light is analyzed. If the surface is vibrating, the reflected light will be frequency-shifted due to the Doppler effect. By measuring this frequency shift, the velocity, displacement, and acceleration of the vibration can be accurately calculated.
