Landmasses Solara refers to the collective continents and major islands found on the fictional planet Solara. Solara, a tidally locked world, features distinct geographical zones shaped by its unique orbital position relative to its star. The sun-facing hemisphere, known as the Daylands, is characterized by vast, arid deserts and rugged mountain ranges, with limited bodies of water. Life here is scarce and highly adapted to extreme heat and aridity.

The twilight zone, or the Terminator Region, bridges the Daylands and the Nightlands. This region is characterized by a more temperate climate and is where most of Solara's liquid water is found, forming large rivers and shallow seas. This area supports a much greater diversity of flora and fauna.

The Nightlands, perpetually in darkness, are dominated by frozen plains, massive glaciers, and deep, icy canyons. While seemingly inhospitable, subsurface geothermal activity in some areas may support unique ecosystems independent of solar energy. The distribution and formation of these landmasses are theorized to be the result of ancient tectonic activity and the constant atmospheric pressure differences created by the extreme temperature gradient across the planet.
