Lämminverisillä is a Finnish term referring to warm-blooded animals. This biological classification encompasses a vast majority of the animal kingdom, including all mammals and birds. Warm-blooded animals, also known as endotherms, are characterized by their ability to maintain a stable internal body temperature regardless of the external environment. This internal regulation is achieved through metabolic processes, such as breaking down food for energy, which generates heat.
