ksztalt

Ksztalt (Polish for "shape" or "form") is a Polish experimental music ensemble founded in 1965 by Krzysztof Komeda. The group's music is characterized by improvisational elements and a blend of avant-garde and traditional Polish folk influences. Ksztalt's sound is often described as adventurous and free-form, with extended instrumental passages and unconventional musical arrangements.

The ensemble's core members have included numerous influential Polish musicians, such as trumpeter Tomasz Stańko, saxophonist Krzysztof Sadowski, and pianist Zbigniew Namysłowski.
