Kontrollfelületek, often translated as control surfaces, are aerodynamic components on an aircraft that allow the pilot to manipulate and control the aircraft's attitude and flight path. These surfaces function by altering the airflow around the aircraft, generating forces that induce movement.

The primary control surfaces include the ailerons, elevators, and rudder. Ailerons are typically located on the trailing edge of the wings and work in opposition to each other. When one aileron moves up, the other moves down, causing the aircraft to roll. Elevators are situated on the horizontal stabilizer at the tail of the aircraft. Moving them up or down causes the nose of the aircraft to pitch up or down, respectively. The rudder is found on the vertical stabilizer and is used to control yaw, which is the movement of the aircraft's nose left or right.

In addition to these primary surfaces, many aircraft also utilize secondary control surfaces. Flaps, usually found on the trailing edge of the wings inboard of the ailerons, can be extended to increase lift and drag, particularly during takeoff and landing. Spoilers, located on the upper surface of the wings, can be deployed to disrupt airflow and reduce lift, aiding in descent and roll control. Trim tabs are small adjustable surfaces on the control surfaces themselves that can be used to reduce pilot effort required to maintain a desired flight attitude.
