Kelimesinin is a Turkish inflected form derived from kelime, meaning word. It is formed by first adding the third-person possessive suffix -si to kelime, producing kelimesi (its word), and then adding the genitive suffix -in to indicate “of” or possession in a larger phrase, yielding kelimesinin. The combination therefore expresses a nested possessive relationship: the meaning depends on the surrounding context.

In Turkish, possessive suffixes attach to the noun stem in a fixed order: first the possessive suffix (to mark the possessor), then the case or genitive suffix (to mark the grammatical function such as “of”). The suffixes themselves harmonize with the vowel of the stem, so the family of forms for -in/-ın/-un/-ün will appear depending on vowel harmony. Kelimesinin is the result of this chain when the base carries a third-person possessive and then the genitive.
