invertierte

Invertierte is a German adjective form derived from the past participle invertiert, which itself comes from the verb invertieren. It denotes something that has been inverted, turned upside down, or reversed. As an attributive adjective, invertierte is used before feminine singular nouns and before plural nouns (for example, eine invertierte Datei, invertierte Dateien). It is also common in technical and scientific language to describe states, processes, or objects that have undergone inversion.

The term appears in various domains. In mathematics and computing, phrases such as invertierte Matrix (the inverse of a matrix) or invertierte Daten (data that has been inverted or transformed) are used. In imaging and color processing, invertierte Farben or invertiertes Bild refer to color-inverted or negative images. In geometry or physics, one might speak of invertierte Achse or invertierte Transformation to indicate reversed orientation or mapping.
