Infrastruktúra is a term used in Hungarian and other Central and Eastern European languages to denote the underlying facilities and networks that support an economy and a society. It spans assets that are long lived, capital intensive, and typically governed or regulated by public authorities, though delivery often involves private partners or mixed arrangements.
