ilmanostoreaktori
An ilmanostoreaktori, a Finnish term translating to "air-lifting reactor" or "air-lift reactor," is a type of chemical reactor where the circulation of reactants is achieved by the introduction of a gas, typically air, into the reactor. This gas is sparged into the bottom of an internal or external riser, creating a two-phase mixture of liquid and gas. The lower density of the gas-liquid mixture in the riser compared to the dense liquid in the downcomer causes a natural circulation.
The primary function of an ilmanostoreaktori is to enhance mass transfer and mixing within the reactor. The
Ilmanostoreaktorit are widely used in various industrial processes, particularly in the biochemical and chemical industries. Applications
