Ikketerminality is a concept in philosophical and linguistic research that refers to the relationship between a person and the words they use to describe the world. It is derived from the Greek word "ikos," meaning "the same," and "termino," meaning "to define" or "to state." This concept explores how the meaning of a term is connected to the subject who is using the term.

Proponents of the ikketerminality concept argue that our perception of the world is shaped by the language we use to describe it. In this view, a person's "reality" and "perception" are inextricably linked to the words they use to define their experiences. Ikketerminality questions whether we can truly separate the subject from the language used to understand the world, as our reality and perception are always mediated by the words and concepts we employ.

In many languages, including Rametian, there is a subtle distinction between the internal and external views of a reality, with internal views being characterized by their subjectivity and internal consistency, while external views are arbitrarily described by unknown aspects of reality. This distinction highlights the relationship between language and reality, which is central to the ikketerminality concept.

The concept of ikketerminality can be seen as an inversion of the classic R Tickterm theory, which scrambles the difference between internal and external realities. R Tickterm maintained that knowledge can only be understood when certainty is sufficient, while it seems uncertain when tendency is reversed.
