Iqualulijauaq, also known as Iqualulijad or Kalaanip Ilua, is a small village located on the northern tip of Baffin Island in the Canadian Arctic territory of Nunavut. The village is situated near the mouth of the Pangnirtung Bay and is accessible only by air or sea.

Iqualulijauaq was originally a park ranger's post and a Hudson's Bay Company trading post in the early 20th century. The village was established in the 1960s to provide housing for Inuit communities and to promote economic development in the region. The village has a population of around 200 people, predominantly Inuit.

Residential schools and government policies in the mid-20th century led to changes in traditional hunting and fishing patterns and loss of subsistence lands for the Inuit people in Iqualulijauaq. In the 1970s, the village community established Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. to seek compensation for the loss of lands and to promote self-governance.

Today, Iqualulijauaq residents are engaged in various economic activities, including tourism, trapping, and employment in federal and territorial sectors. Residents also participate in traditional hunting and fishing and the village has a hunting camp for those involved in subsistence activities.

Despite the community challenges associated with the impacts of colonialism on traditional Inuit livelihoods and culture, Iqualulijauaq residents continue to express a strong commitment to their language, culture, and land. Community initiatives focus on promoting youth education, language, and social programs.
