høydefinisjonens
Høydefinisjonens, often referred to as HD, represents a significant advancement in video and display technology. It refers to a display resolution that is substantially higher than standard definition (SD). The most common high-definition resolutions are 1280x720 pixels, known as 720p, and 1920x1080 pixels, known as 1080i or 1080p. The "p" in 1080p stands for progressive scan, where each frame is displayed in its entirety at once, resulting in a smoother and clearer image compared to interlaced scanning ("i") which displays alternating lines of pixels.
The increased pixel count in HD content allows for greater detail, sharper images, and more vibrant colors.
