Gruplarna is a Swedish word that can be interpreted as the definite plural form of the noun grupp, meaning “the groups.” However, in standard modern Swedish the correct definite plural is usually gruperna. The form gruplarna is not considered standard and is typically found only as a dialectal variant, a spelling error, or in a nonstandard or stylistic context. Because of this, its usage can be ambiguous outside of specialized texts.
