gromadzenia

Gromadzenia is the plural form of gromadzenie, a Polish noun meaning the act of gathering or the result of gathering, i.e., the process of bringing people or things together into a group, or the set of gathered items. It comes from the verb gromadzić (to gather, to accumulate). The term is used across many domains.

In social and cultural contexts gromadzenia refers to assemblies of people, such as meetings, crowds, or religious congregations gathered for a purpose. In everyday usage it can denote any gathering, informal or formal, of participants at a place and time.

In administrative, logistical, or data contexts gromadzenia also cover accumulation or collection: gromadzenia danych (data collection/aggregation), gromadzenia odpadów (waste accumulation), gromadzenia zasobów (resource gathering). The plural form is used when referring to multiple gatherings or types of gathering or accumulation.

In Polish law and organizational language, the more formal term for an assembly of persons, such as shareholders or members, is zgromadzenie (e.g., Walne zgromadzenie). Gromadzenie is the broader, non-legal sense, while zgromadzenie denotes a formalized gathering. Nevertheless, in everyday usage gromadzenia and zgromadzenia are sometimes used interchangeably, particularly when focusing on the act of gathering rather than the legal procedure.
