Gezichtsstructuur refers to the anatomical arrangement and composition of the human face. It is a complex system involving various tissues, bones, muscles, and skin. The facial bones are further divided into three groups: the maxilla, mandible, and the seven pairs of facial bones.

The skin of the face is the outermost layer and provides protection and sensation. It is composed of two layers: the epidermis and dermis. The epidermis is the outer layer, while the dermis contains the hair follicles, sweat glands, and blood vessels.
