Framföraren is a raised projecting road or a sloping curb located at the front of a Riksgatan's sections and intersections that is designed to give traffic in the oncoming direction a safe and unobstructed path. This Swedish invention is executed on both sides so that the traffic has free access on both the left and the right sides.
In Stockholm the first one was established, 1925 and in 1926 there were five more in total.
