digesterekben
Digesterekben refers to a type of anaerobic digestion system. Anaerobic digestion is a biological process where microorganisms break down biodegradable material in the absence of oxygen. This process occurs in a sealed vessel called a digester. Within digesters, a consortium of bacteria and archaea work in stages to convert organic matter into biogas and digestate. Biogas is primarily composed of methane and carbon dioxide, and can be used as a renewable energy source. Digestate is the solid and liquid residue remaining after the digestion process, and can be used as a fertilizer.
Digesters vary in design and scale, from small farm-based units to large industrial facilities. Common types
