Cruisedoeleinde is an extinct genus of trilobites, a type of ancient arthropod that lived during the Cambrian Period. Trilobites are characterized by their unique three-lobed or divided exoskeleton, which is divided into a cephalon, thorax, and pygidium. The prehistoric creatures are often divided into three subphyla: Agnostida, Corynexochida, and Phacopida.

The Cruisedoeleinde genus is considered to be part of the last subphylum and belongs to the Order Corynexochida, which comprises three families. The trilobites in this order typically possess a robust exoskeleton, often featuring spines or ridges for defense and structural support. The life habits of these early arthropods were primarily carnivorous and scavenging, feeding on detritus and small aquatic organisms.

Fossil records of trilobites from the Cruisedoeleinde genus have been identified in Lower and Middle Ordovician deposits, mainly dating between 480-440 million years. The sediments containing these fossil deposits often provided clues to ancient environments, such as sedimentary rocks formed from ancient rivers, oceans or environments that contained periodic development and coastal transformation.

Although there is a lack of comprehensive scientific research into the precise fossil record or exact classification for this genus, most of the studied sites provide some level of information that indicates these trilobites coexisted and interacted with other arthropod groups well into the time before sharp Ordovician ancestries could be established.
