bilgiyi

Bilgiyi is the Turkish definite accusative form of the noun bilgi, meaning information or knowledge. In Turkish sentences, bilgiyi functions as the direct object when referring to a particular piece of information. The form is produced by adding the definite accusative suffix -i (with appropriate vowel harmony) and inserting a linking consonant y because the stem ends in a vowel.

The Turkish accusative suffix follows vowel harmony: the form becomes -yi after a front vowel, giving bilgiyi;

In usage, bilgiyi typically refers to a specific piece of information understood from context; for generic
