aktiivisuuskertoimina
Aktiivisuuskertoimet, often translated as activity coefficients, are dimensionless quantities used in physical chemistry to describe the deviation of a solution's behavior from ideal behavior. In an ideal solution, the interactions between solute and solvent molecules are the same as the interactions between solute-solute and solvent-solvent molecules. However, in real solutions, these interactions can differ, leading to non-ideal behavior. Aktiivisuuskertoimet quantify this non-ideality.
The activity coefficient of a component in a mixture is defined as the ratio of its activity
Aktiivisuuskertoimet are always positive. A value greater than 1 indicates that the component is "more reactive"
