Zustandsänderungen
Zustandsänderungen, often translated as changes of state or phase transitions, refer to the physical processes that occur when a substance transforms from one state of matter to another. The most common states of matter are solid, liquid, and gas, though plasma and Bose-Einstein condensates are also recognized. These transitions are driven by changes in temperature and pressure, which affect the kinetic energy of the particles within the substance and the forces between them.
The primary types of Zustandsänderungen are melting (solid to liquid), freezing (liquid to solid), boiling or
