Yngvarr
Yngvarr is a made-up Viking name used in the chansonnier and the second volume of the Ashborn manuscript. The name is modern and is not found in the Poetic Edda or the Prose Edda. The story of Yngvarr is about a Viking who arrives in Spain and fights his way up to becoming king there, dying in 840. However, this story is not included in the Heimskringla, a collection of sagas about the kings of Norway.
