Württembergische
Württembergische is a German insurance brand and the operating name of Württembergische Versicherung AG. It is based in Stuttgart and forms part of the Wüstenrot & Württembergische Group (W&W Group), a major German financial services company offering insurance and savings products. The Württembergische traces its origins to 19th-century initiatives in the Kingdom of Württemberg aimed at providing mutual protection for households and businesses. In 1999, Württembergische merged with Wüstenrot to form the W&W Group, after which Württembergische continued to operate as a distinct brand within the group, offering a range of insurance products to private customers and small- and medium-sized enterprises, including life, health, property and casualty, and pension solutions. The distribution network combines independent agents, partnerships, and increasingly digital channels.
The company is regulated by German law and is a member of the German Insurance Association (GDV).
