Vérkeringése, meaning "blood circulation" in Hungarian, refers to the continuous movement of blood throughout the body. This vital process is driven by the heart, a muscular organ that pumps blood through a network of arteries, veins, and capillaries. The circulatory system is responsible for transporting oxygen, nutrients, hormones, and other essential substances to all cells and tissues, while simultaneously removing waste products like carbon dioxide.
There are two main circuits within the blood circulation. The pulmonary circulation carries deoxygenated blood from
