Välittäjäentsyymit, known in English as mediator enzymes, are a class of enzymes that play a crucial role in signal transduction pathways within cells. These enzymes often act by modifying other molecules, such as proteins or lipids, through processes like phosphorylation, dephosphorylation, or the generation of secondary messengers.
