Váltakozóáramú

Váltakozóáramú refers to alternating current (AC) electricity. Unlike direct current (DC) where the electric charge flows in only one direction, alternating current periodically reverses its direction. This reversal happens at a specific frequency, typically measured in Hertz (Hz). For example, in many parts of the world, the standard frequency is 50 Hz, meaning the current reverses direction 50 times per second.

The primary advantage of alternating current is its ability to be efficiently transformed to higher or lower voltages using transformers.
