Vádlottnak
Vádlottnak is a Hungarian legal term that translates to "accused" or "defendant" in English. It refers to a person who has been formally charged with committing a crime and is therefore subject to legal proceedings. The term is used throughout the Hungarian criminal justice system, from the initial investigation stages to the trial and sentencing.
In Hungary, an individual becomes a vádlott when the public prosecutor's office (ügyészség) files an indictment
The vádlott is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
