Visszaadjátok

Visszaadjátok is a Hungarian verb form. It is the second-person plural form of the verb visszaad, meaning “to give back” or “to return” something. This form is used when addressing more than one person and can function as either the present indicative or the imperative, depending on context.

Morphology and formation: the form combines the prefix vissza- (back, again) with the stem ad- (to give) and the present-tense second-person plural suffix -játok, yielding visszaadjátok. The phonetic assimilation during conjugation also explains the adj- sequence in writing. In addition to this form, the same sequence -játok can appear in the imperative, so visszaadjátok may express a command as well as a statement about what “you all” are doing.
