Vaporoided

Vaporoided is a term that refers to the process of converting a solid substance into a vapor or gas without passing through a liquid phase. This phenomenon occurs when a substance is heated to its boiling point or above, causing it to transition directly from a solid to a gas. This process is known as sublimation.

The term "vaporoided" is not widely recognized in standard scientific literature, but it is used informally to describe the sublimation process. Sublimation is a common occurrence in nature and is used in various industrial applications. For example, dry ice (solid carbon dioxide) sublimes at room temperature, turning directly into carbon dioxide gas.

The reverse process, where a gas transitions directly into a solid, is known as deposition. Both sublimation and deposition are phase transitions that occur without the substance passing through the liquid phase. These processes are fundamental in understanding the behavior of matter under different conditions of temperature and pressure.
