Võlainstrumendid

Võlainstrumendid, meaning debt instruments in Estonian, are financial contracts that obligate one party (the issuer) to repay a specific sum of money to another party (the holder) on a specified future date, along with any agreed-upon interest payments. These instruments represent a loan from the holder to the issuer.

The most common types of võlainstrumendid include bonds, loans, and bills of exchange. Bonds are typically issued by governments or corporations to raise capital.
