UTM parameters, also known as Urchin Tracking Module parameters, are a set of query strings used in URLs to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. They are commonly used in digital marketing to measure the performance of various marketing channels, campaigns, and content. UTM parameters are appended to the end of a URL and consist of five main components: source, medium, campaign, term, and content.
The source parameter identifies the origin of the traffic, such as a specific website or advertising platform.
UTM parameters are typically generated by marketing tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, and
