Trexall
Trexall is a brand name for the medication methotrexate. Methotrexate is an antimetabolite and antifolate drug that is used in the treatment of several conditions. It is primarily prescribed for certain types of cancer, including leukemia, lymphoma, breast cancer, head and neck cancer, and lung cancer. In lower doses, Trexall is also used to manage severe cases of rheumatoid arthritis that have not responded to other treatments. Additionally, it is prescribed for severe, recalcitrant psoriasis that has not been adequately controlled by other therapies.
