Trane
Trane is a brand of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems. Founded in 1913 by James Trane and his son Reuben, the company began as a plumbing business in La Crosse, Wisconsin. They developed their first air conditioner in the 1930s, and since then, Trane has become a well-known name in residential and commercial climate control. The company is recognized for its focus on energy efficiency and reliability in its product offerings, which include furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and thermostats. Trane's products are designed to help regulate indoor temperatures and improve air quality. Over the years, Trane has undergone several ownership changes, most notably becoming part of American Standard Companies and later being acquired by Ingersoll Rand. In 2020, Trane Technologies was spun off from Ingersoll Rand and is now an independent public company. The brand continues to emphasize innovation in HVAC technology, aiming to provide comfortable and sustainable indoor environments.
