Termodynamicznie

Termodynamicznie is a Polish adverb describing something in relation to thermodynamics. It signals that a statement, process, or property is analyzed or described according to the principles of thermodynamics, including energy transfer, state functions, and the laws that govern heat and work.

In practice, statements labeled as thermodynamicznie relate to energy changes, state functions such as internal energy, enthalpy, entropy, and Gibbs free energy, and conditions like temperature and pressure. Common usages include thermodynamically favorable, thermodynamically stable, or thermodynamically reversible processes, phrases that connect descriptions to core concepts of thermodynamics.

A thermodynamic analysis relies on the laws of thermodynamics—the conservation of energy (the first law) and the directionality of energy transfer and entropy (the second law)—as well as state equations and equilibrium concepts. The term is widely used in chemistry, physics, engineering, and materials science to assess feasibility, efficiency, and stability under given conditions of temperature and pressure.

Note that the English equivalent is thermodynamically; the Polish form termodynamicznie is used in similar contexts to indicate that the discussion is grounded in thermodynamic reasoning.
