Terminasti

Terminasti is the second-person singular form of the Italian verb terminare in the passato remoto, meaning you finished or you ended. It is mainly encountered in literary or historical narrative and is used to place a completed action in the distant past.

In standard Italian, the passato remoto forms a, temi, etc. For -are verbs like terminare, the regular conjugation in the passato remoto is: io terminai, tu terminasti, lui terminò, noi terminammo, voi terminaste, loro terminarono. Therefore, terminasti corresponds to the second-person singular and is the form used when narrating from a past perspective in formal or written contexts.
