Sävellajeihin
Sävellajeihin, often translated as scales or modes in English, are fundamental building blocks of Western music. They consist of a specific sequence of whole and half steps within an octave. The most common sävellajeihin are the major and minor scales. The major scale, often described as "happy" or "bright," follows a pattern of whole, whole, half, whole, whole, whole, half steps.
