Szénkiötés
Szénkiötés is a Hungarian term that translates to "carbon sequestration" in English. It refers to the process of capturing and storing atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) to mitigate climate change. This can be achieved through both natural and artificial methods. Natural carbon sequestration involves processes like photosynthesis by plants and trees, which absorb CO2 from the atmosphere and store it in their biomass and soil. Forests, oceans, and wetlands are significant natural carbon sinks.
Artificial carbon sequestration, also known as carbon capture and storage (CCS), involves technological processes to capture
